It was a really good Thursday for Srikanth as Rs. 1.47 crores came in. What makes it further special is the fact that the collections are actually higher than even last Thursday when Rs. 1.43 crores had come in. Such kind of trending wasn’t really on the cards despite all the stability that Srikanth had shown since release and hence there is now renewed enthusiasm around its box office performance in weeks to come.

In fact, the week-on-week stability for the film has been quite impressive too. While first week collections stood at Rs. 18.04 crores, the second week has held in really well with Rs. 13.98 crores coming in. That’s a drop of less than 25% and one didn’t really see this coming even in the best case scenario. At least 40% drop was always expected and even that would have been good and here the film is holding far better, hence promising a consistent run from here.

The Rajkummar Rao starrer has now reached Rs. 32.02 crores and while Rs. 40 crores mark would be hit in real quick time, the film has already built its case for at least Rs. 50 crores lifetime. With an open week ahead at the multiplexes till Rajkummar’s own Mr. & Mrs. Mahi arrives, Srikanth is now set for a higher box office verdict.
