South Korean actors Jo Joon Young and Jang Yeo Bin will be joining EXO’s Sehun in a new TVING drama titled Everything We Loved (literal title).
TVING’s new original drama depicts the story of friendship and love of 18-year-olds who cannot give up love or friendship. The drama deals with the unique subject of cellular memory, which hypothesizes that memory is transferred to organ transplant recipients.
According to Korean media Soompi, Jo Joon Young will be playing Go Joon Hee, the No. 1 student in the entire school who possesses a peculiar atmosphere and has more things he wants to see than he loves. Go Joon Hee is physically weak, and he ends up receiving a kidney transplant from Go Yoo. He later develops symptoms of cellular memory as he becomes more similar to Go Yoo.
Meanwhile, Jang Yeo Bin will be taking on the role of Han So Yeon whom Go Yoo and Go Joon Hee both become interested in. Han So Yeon is a beautiful transfer student and she is also an elite student that can compete with Go Joon Hee for the top rank in school. However, she has an unspeakable secret, so she does not easily get close to others.
Sehun, as previously announced, will star as Go Yoo, a second-year student at Hara High School and a charming basketball prodigy who also excels in his studies. Despite being too busy to date, Go Yoo is preoccupied with protecting his schoolmate Joon Hee, on who he develops a crush after donating his kidney to him. They’re both rivals, competing for the spot as the school’s top student, while simultaneously grappling with his conflicting emotions for his first love, So Yeon.
Everything We Loved is slated to premiere in 2023.
