B.O. update: 'Shanghai' opens to dull response
SHANGHAI had a lukewarm start at the ticket window. The response at plexes was in 15% to 25% range, while the single screens, which have always embraced Emraan Hashmi's warmly, weren't gung ho this time, partly because one could gauge from the promos that this wasn't the regular masala film. Nonetheless, it would be interesting to see how the multiplexes react to the film over the weekend.
