Basu-Da stages a comeback

Basu Chatterjee, one of the finest exponents of family entertainers, is staging a comeback after years of hibernation with PRATEEKSHA, a film promising to be in his trademark fun-and-frolic genre. Being produced by Sahara, PRATEEKSHA will star Jimmy Shergill opposite Dia Mirza. Chatterjee explains the plot, It is about a Hindu boy falling in love with a Christian girl. But mind you, the plot has more to it than the love element part. How hatred paves way for love forms the crux of the plot. Senior actors like Anupam Kher and Govind Namdeo have also been finalised to play important roles, while insiders insist it could also mark the big-screen comeback of yesteryear actress Zarina Wahab.
