The tinsel town is now fashion aware, courtesy the rising brigade of fashion stylists! While edgy fashion, quirky styles and dynamic trends are a norm for the B-townies, one cannot stop marvelling at the sheer chutzpah of these stars. While fashion designers incept creations, these stylists promote these creations through the tinsel town stars who flaunt the styles through their numerous appearances for movie promotions, brand endorsements, the quintessential red carpet, airport look or simply casual brunches or dinner outings. While the styling precisions of these fashion stylists are the reckoning force for some of the finest fashion moments, they also lead to malfunctions or more commonly, fashion face-offs. The latest ones to be trapped in this fashion face-off are Shriya Saran and Lara Dutta Bhupati. The beautiful Lara Dutta Bhupathi flaunted her svelte form in a teal coloured Rajat Tangri ensemble recently – a similar look that was done to perfection by Shriya Saran in 2016!

While the newly married Shriya Saran’s style sensibilities can be best described as breezy, non-fussy and sartorial, Lara Dutta Bhupathi has been slowly but steadily pacing her way through some tricky style waters. Here is a closer look at who nailed the snazzy ensemble the best.

Fashion Face-Off- Shriya Saran

At the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2016, Shriya chose to give the conventional red carpet voluminous dresses a miss for a Rajat Tangri creation featuring a peplum strappy top with a trail and fitted embroidered pants, both in teal blue. While Shriya kept her makeup subtle and hairstyle sleek, she added a crisp element with pointy-toed stilettos. (Also Read: Pics leaked! Fashion Face-Off - Lara Dutta

As a celebrity judge on the reality show, High Fever Dance Ka Naya Tevar, Lara who was styled by Eshaa Amiin chose the same Rajat Tangri ensemble with open-toed Jimmy Choo sandals, loose waves and statement Aquamarine earrings. (Also Read: Lara Dutta to launch her own skincare brand ARIAS)

Bollywood Hungama Style Verdict

With minor differences like Shriya's ensemble featuring a side silhouette and Lara's featuring a centre one, we concede that the teal colour isn't easy to pull off! While Shriya allowed the rich coloured separates to take centre-stage with a simple makeup and hairdo, Lara jazzed things up with the sandals and the earrings. Since Shriya had sported this look way back for the first edition of Lux Gold Rose Awards 2016, Lara’s repetition of the same look after such a long time could well be her stylist’s fault! We personally loved Shriya interpretation of the look than Lara’s!
