The Kapoor family went through one of the toughest times in their lives with the untimely passing of their beloved family member, Sridevi. Daughters Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor remember her in every way possible. But, in the darkest times, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor became their pillars of strength. As their bond is only getting stronger, one can see how Arjun and Anshula take care of their younger sisters.
Janvhi Kapoor and Ashula Kapoor often take vacations together with Khushi Kapoor and their dad. From one of those vacations, Janhvi found a picture in which both of them are enjoying the crazy rollercoaster ride. Sharing the throwback moment, Janhvi wrote, "#tbt to the first but clearly not the last roller coaster we’ll be on together. I love you."
Janvhi recently came on Koffee With Karan 6 with Arjun Kapoor and one could see their camaraderie. Talking about Sridevi's death and how it was important for him and Anshula to be there for the girls, Arjun said, "At the end of the day, a moment changes everything. I have been through that moment; I wouldn't wish it for my worst enemy. Whatever I did or whatever I and Anshula have done or reacted was an impulse out of pure honesty knowing that we would have needed somebody at that time. And perhaps, we couldn't have that at that point, as much as we liked. But that doesn't mean Janhvi and Khushi shouldn't."
Arjun added, "But, at that point, it stemmed purely out of being a good son to my father (Boney Kapoor). My mother (Mona Kapoor) would have wanted that. If she was alive that's the first thing she should've said is, "Go be there. Make sure you are there. Don't hold any grudges" because your life is too short."
He even said that it took him a while to gather the courage to ask Anshula about supporting the younger siblings. "And I still remember it was 2 or 3 in the morning, she had no idea because it was late at night and I called her, the first thing she said was, "Where are the girls?"And at that point, I knew I was gonna be there for Janhvi and Khushi to the best of my capacity," he said.
"It was just, "Be there" because they will not know what is hitting them. Because it was going to be a storm. And it was a storm and they conducted themselves with utmost dignity," Arjun added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor made her debut this year with Dhadak starring opposite Ishaan Khatter. Her next will be Karan Johar’s period drama Takht.
