Sonam Kapoor's wedding festivities have already kicked off and oh my god we can't stop crushing on her! The bride is looking resplendent as she is all set to become Mrs Ahuja very soon. There is a lot of hoopla about the wedding naturally, given Sonam's high profile celebratory status and fans are busy chronicling their favorite actress’s big day by sharing images and videos from the pre -wedding ceremony. Though Sonam's house has been wedding ready since a long time, the official celebrations kicked off yesterday with a lot of fan fare. There was a mehendi ceremony organised which was attended by the Kapoor Khandaan and the Neerja actress’s close ones from the industry. Now, her Sangeet pictures and videos are out and we can't help but swoon over her amazing dance moves.
Sonam and hubby to be Anand Ahuja sure make a handsome couple and it is heartwarming to watch them burn the dance together. Sonam Kapoor's cousins Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor too make a pretty picture dressed in the wedding finery. Khushi and Janhvi did not perform at the do owning to the fact that their mother, legendary actress Sridevi, passed away only a few months ago. She sure is thoroughly missed amidst this hoopla.
Sonam has donned a beautiful white lehenga choli and looks like a quintessential bride with heavy gold and pearl jewellery, long tresses tied in a plait and a gorgeous gajra adorning it. The bride's tribe Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and others arrived in gold and white traditional attires. Other guests include Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Swara Bhasker, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anaita Shroff Adajani, Rekha among others.
The main wedding event will take place tomorrow at Sonam's aunt Kavita Singh's bungalow in Rockdale, Bandra. It will be followed by a reception at The Leela Palace in Mumbai.
