Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju trailer broke the internet with its amaze content and Ranbir’s ASTOUNDING transformation into Sanjay Dutt. His usually discerning dad Rishi Kapoor too could not hold back his tears as he saw his son’s performance on screen. In the press conference, Ranbir in front of the entire media and cast of Sanju confessed that he really wants Sanjay Dutt to like him even though he can never be a man like the Torbaaz star. His exact words, “I really want Sanju Sir to like me. I can never be the man he is, I can never be the person he is. But in every which way I go about my career, as a person and even through this film; I really want Sanju Sir to like me. He’s a man I respect a lot, I really look up to him and I really hope that he feels I’ve represented his life in an honest and true way.” Looks like his wish is fulfilled now!

So the real and reel Sanjay Dutt caught up with each other yesterday in the city and shared a warm hug! Sanju looked delighted and Ranbir could not contain his happiness in presence of his screen idol. Judging by the look on Dutt’s face, he seems pretty pleased with the trailer and Ranbir’s portrayal on screen. It sure takes a lot of guts to open up about one’s controversial past and allow all those life experiences to be made into a film. We laud Sanjay Dutt for the same.

Sanjay had recorded a video and sent to his friends and makers of Sanju at the teaser launch of the film. In the video he mentioned how elated he was that a film is being on his life. In private, he told Hirani that looking at Ranbir’s transformation he feels that the Kapoor scion will soon replace him.
