Sushant Singh Rajput is known for his method acting and the versatile appeal when it comes to choosing his roles. His last outing, Raabta, with Kriti Sanon, was a total washout at the box office. But undeterred by this, he is set off to impress us with his dacoit act in Abhishek Chaubey’s next, Son Chiriya, based on the real life stories from Chambal. There is of course no prize for guessing that we will see a rustic, villainous side of the actor in this movie. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

We bring to you the actor’s look fresh from the sets of of his next. One look at the pic and you would realise that Sushant Singh Rajput has stopped at nothing to get into the gravitas of the character. Right from the clothes to his posture, he has nailed the bandit look to the T. His overgrown beard, messy hair and devil-may-care expression has left us intrigued and asking for more.

A source close to the film had told Bollywood Hungama that despite being busy shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath with newbie Sara Ali Khan, Sushant is making sure that he preps for his Son Chiriya role religiously. He has also spent time with real-life dacoits to get into the character. The source further elaborated on the physical training undertaken by the Dhoni star for the gangster flick. The insider added, “He will lose some muscle weight to look the rustic part as well as learn rifle-shooting.”
