Mukesh and Neeta Ambani threw a HUGE bash over the weekend as their eldest son Akash got engaged to Shloka Mehta. The Ambani mansion, Antilla, was totally decked up in awe-inspiring floral creations which were flown all the way from the United States.
According to reports, the pristine white floral arrangement was created and managed by Californian floral designer Karen Tran. The party set new standards when it comes to luxury events. Everybody from Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and his family to Karan Johar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and fam attended this event of the century.
The Ambanis did not leave any stone unturned to turn their mansion into a palace for the D-Day. Not just Bollywood but the entire cricketing community from the Ambanis’ team Mumbai Indians were invited too! There was dance, good food, lots of mingling of the who’s who of showbiz, business and the cricketing world! But most of the function was dominated by the Bollywoodwallahs.
Karan Johar spent some quality time with his long-time friend Kajol and of course Alia Bhatt, his all-time favourite. Alia also spent some time with Ranbir’s family and Shah Rukh was made news as he entered with wife Gauri and Aryan who looked like his spitting image. He looked Bollywood ready, like totally. Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan danced at the ceremony.
Before the actual ceremony, Ambanis had organized a pre-engagement party on Thursday where Priyanka Chopra made news after officially making an appearance with her beau Nick Jonas before flying away with him.
Bollywood celebs including Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan joined Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Anant Ambani and many more for a flashmob. The song they danced on was 'Gal Mithi Mithi' from Aisha. All of them performed along with several guests as the rest of the guests cheered for them.
