- 210 Hindi films were released in 2018

- 70 notable Hindi films were released (Comparatively, 95 films were released in 2017)

- Rs. 3500 crore nett* came as Box Office earnings (Comparatively, Rs. 3102 crore nett came as Box Office Earnings in 2017) [*assuming Simmba will do minimum Rs. 150 crore business]
