The album of the Shah Rukh Khan-Manisha Koirala-Preity Zinta starrer Dil Se is unforgettable and one song that stood out was ‘Jiya Jale’. It was the only light-hearted, romantic track in this otherwise intense flick with all the other songs also being in the somewhat dark zone. What also made this song memorable is that it had some lyrics in Malayalam, by Girish Pulthenchri, which gave a nice touch overall. For the Non-Malayalam listeners obviously, it all went bouncer.
