Film Cast Plusses Minusses Verdict

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani		 Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kalki Koechlin, Farooq Shaikh, Kunal Roy Kapur, Dolly Ahluwalia, Tanvi Azmi, Evelyn Sharma, Navin Kaushik, Rana Daggubati [sp. app.] Exceptional performances by its principal actors. Excellent music. Sensitive episodes in the narrative Stretched by at least 15 minutes. Slow-paced at times Dominated the marketplace with excellent collections. The film remained unaffected by Hollywood [MAN OF STEEL] and Bollywood [FUKREY, ANKUR ARORA MURDER CASE] films. Collected approx Rs 13.20 cr nett in its Weekend 3. Grand total: Rs 168.48 cr nett. Breakup for Weekend 3:- Fri 3.25 cr, Sat 4.30 cr, Sun 5.65 cr. Blockbuster

Fukrey		 Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh, Priya Anand, Pankaj Tripathi Interesting premise. Well crafted screenplay. Natural performances. Melodious music Stretched by at least 10/15 minutes Had a slow start on Friday [picked up marginally in evening/night shows], but witnessed marginal growth on Saturday and good growth on Sunday. Performed the best in North circuits. The word of mouth is fantastic and the film should maintain the momentum on weekdays to stay afloat. Collected approx Rs 9.82 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup for opening weekend:- Fri 2.62 cr, Sat 3.10 cr, Sun 4.10 cr

Ankur Arora Murder Case		 Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Arjun Mathur, Vishakha Singh, Paoli Dam, Manish Chaudhari, Vishesh Tiwari, Harsh Chhaya, Sachin Khurana Illustrates the gaffes in the medical profession most persuasively Gets filmy in the second hour Is disappointing, despite positive word of mouth. Collected approx Rs 1.05 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup for opening weekend:- Fri 12 lacs, Sat 40 lacs, Sun 45/50 lacs
