Like each year, this year too, we, at Bollywood Hungama conducted a poll to chart out what are likely to be the biggest blockbusters of 2013. The analysis took the form of an extensive survey held in the month of December 2012 and conducted online amongst those who really matter - the Consumers. Spanning regions as diverse as India and South-East Asia to the European Union and USA-Canada, the user had to select his/her 10 most anticipated movies. To ensure complete transparency and accuracy, a three level authentication check with email validation, cookie check and IP mapping was put into place.

The hot list of the 'Most Awaited Movies of 2013' truly proved to be the voice of the masses, garnering an overwhelming response with lakhs of valid responses. Results were compiled based on votes from 165 countries - countries which constitute about 98% of revenue towards Bollywood releases. Facebook users were also allowed to vote thereby increasing the total number of votes polled and thereby creating a larger sample size across geographies. The results drew up some rather obvious and rather interesting surprises. So read on to find out all about the Most Awaited Movies of 2013.

• Last year it was an Aamir Khan starrer Talaash which occupied the top spot in this coveted list and this year too it's an Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 which emerges to be the Most Awaited Movie of 2013. Another Aamir Khan film P.K. too occupies 3rd spot in this list.



• Despite his huge popularity over the last few years, it's rather surprising and baffling that none of Salman Khan's films feature in the Top 5. His next 2 films- Kick and Sohail Khan's next occupy No. 8 and No. 9 spot respectively in this list.



• The 3rd Khan- Shah Rukh Khan- has a lot to look forward to in 2013. His home production Chennai Express occupies the 4th spot in this list while another of his film Happy New Year too finds a mention at No. 7 in this list of Most Awaited Movies of 2013. However, if one compares with last 2 years, his popularity has taken a dip, as in 2011 his film Don 2 was the Most Awaited Film while last year (2012), Jab Tak Hai Jaan was No. 3 in the list.
