Umrao Jaan. Is not exactly a remake but it is taken from a novel. If you see the old umrao jaan the dialouges and many scenes are different. But I believe its J.P. dutta's poor...

a very boring movie the only good thing was the popcorn. in the original movie one could feel umrao jaans suppressed grief which spills over in the end in this movie aishwariya...
