1 of 2 people found this review helpful "Ek Vivaah..." is lopsided in its fervent festivity. The first-half where a romance grows between two small town singers Sonu Sood and Eesha Koppikhar creaks with monotonous semi-classical songs.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful What works for this 'Vivaah...' is its intrinsic integrity. At a time when everyone is making films that either go for the guffaw or head for the libido, here's a film that tackles very basic traditional values and the feelings underlining the colourful festivities related to the Hindu wedding. The language is often so old fashioned that it borders on the archaic.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful 'Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi' is a film with an old-world charm. It's a charm we haven't yet become alien to. That's perhaps why it appeals. It's a love story where romance brews despite any physical closeness between the lovers...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful THE film follows the Barjatya formula to the hilt, with just one difference. It lacks the finesse and the grandeur of Sooraj Barjatya's epic odes to the Great Indian Family (Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Vivaah) and ends up a poor cousin of the originals...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi seems to exist in a world far away from the one many of us occupy. It's idealistic and uncomplicated in its plot, its characters are all good or at best misunderstood, and in the end everyone goes home happy and without any complaints.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful Best in its theme, Rajshri haven't failed in bringing to us, best wedlocks on screen in their previous films and Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi is not an elision. Hymeneals, gala celebrations of marriage ceremonies have been spelled? Don't miss the concentric aspects of heart-binding emotions and splendid plotline.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful This movie is strictly not for multiplex audiences at all who will pull their hair out in boredom if they see the film.Even audiences in the single screen theatre weren't exactky pleased. It is also not for fans of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Vivaah. EVAB is like a feature length soap opera so fans of K serials might like it.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful The film is about Chandni (Eesha Koppikhar), a middle-class girl, who lives with her siblings and her father Bhushan (Alok Nath). She is a very good singer and falls in love with Prem (Sonu Sood), who also cares for her...
