Money Hai is not all about comedy, as you might expect from a Govinda starrer. It has a heavy dose of drama in the second half, which is a tad boring.

The movie begins to drag in the second half in which it is impossible to make a sense of where the plot is headed. Even if you switch off your grey cells and try to extract some fun out of the inane comedy, you fail miserably.

MONEY HAI TO HONEY HAI is a good-looking bad movie. The cast and crew I bet had a picnic in Mauritius at the expense of the producer. There is no story; just six characters who are shown doing varied things.

Money Hai Toh Honey Hai with a capable star cast could have done better if not for the appalling script. Music is good but emerges in places which make no sense and reason. Dialogues are okay while cinematography is good.

The first half is devoted to exposition and we are introduced to all the characters and their lives. The second half of the film deals with what they do once they are in house arrest together.

The story never actually manages to build its grip right from the beginning till the culmination. The ineffective idea of choosing individuals and handling them a property of 1000 crores sounds weird. Adding to this is the loan of 1200 crores that they must repay.

Director Ganesh Acharya performs an earthquake-like item number. He shouldn't have. Like you shouldn't have made the mistake of stepping anywhere in the vicinity of this Money Hai to Pakav Hai.

Ganesh Acharya's Money Hai Toh Honey Hai actually tests the patience of the viewer. Fine, you don't expect a riveting storyline from a film of this genre, but you definitely expect laughs, don't you? You expect to be entertained, don't you? Alas, what you get to see is definitely not good, not even bad, it's very boring!

The movie just keeps dragging from one character to another in an attempt to sound funny. Finally, post interval the characters get together and if you are hoping things get better, you’ve got it wrong.
