The film is escapist and the fantastic performance by child actor Zain Khan makes it extremely likeable and real. The kid is extremely talented and I won't be surprised if he becomes the next Khan on the block...

I went to watch Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii with no expectations as I've observed that in doing so, I end up getting disappointed. So I went with a clear mind. And I liked it. I found it cute.

Chain Kulii made me think of the old Limca ad. Fun and zesty, full of sun and sport, with a rambunctious soundtrack, and quite a quickie at around one-and-a-half hours running time...

Offering nothing spectacular, CKKMK is all but just one of the average films that releases week after week. With nothing else new in cinemas this week, you might as well watch it.

Most Indians will never forget the moment when 1983 World Cup hero Kapil Dev smashed Zimbabwe for six sixes and 16 fours. It's this "magic" that Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii plays on when 13-year-old orphan Karan (Zaid) chances upon a bat with 'KD 1983' inscribed on it and uses it to turn into the Indian cricket team's master blaster...

This is the story of what happens when 20 adults in either acne-'n'- jeans or dentures-' n'-dhotis gather to watch a children's movie about cricket. Of the number, at least half treat the auditorium as if it were a lovers' lane thicket.

This is one film that should have been released either during the World Cup or when the kids had their summer vacation. With school already on and cricket taking a back seat after the Bangladesh beating at the World Cup, I doubt this movie will have any takers...

Rahul Bose is his usual calm and composed self too. The kids behave like kids except for the one or two times that they get all philosophical and reflective on the adults. Patently unnatural. And the other dialogues are too natural and thus basically boring. The music is actually infuriating.

It's fun time for kids, specially with the Indo-Pak matches thrown in between and with both Zain and Rahul getting touchy-feely in the emotional bits...

Rahul Bose excels magnificently as reliable performer in a kid entertainer 'Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulli Ki'. The intense scene where he emotes sensitively about his "troublesome childhood" in front of his parents is noteworthy and shows his strength as an actor.

Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulli is a half hearted attempt at making a movie which was expected to appeal to the soft hearted children as well as inspire thoughts in the minds of the youth.
