Chal Chala Chal could have been made into a decent script. Unfortunately for everyone related to this film, the screenplay and script falter at every possible junction.

The film might make sense only if you aspire to be a bus driver and want to know how difficult it is to obtain a driver's license, a no-objections certificate, a set of tyres that don't burst midway, a driver who doesn't drive over dowdy women's feet (Govinda's love interest, Reema Sen) or a traffic guy who doesn't demand hafta and a mithai ka dabba at every turn.

The story keeps moving round and round, the jokes and gags start falling flat and appearing dated and above all Govinda doesn't seem to be in the form he used to be once in his hey days.
