The basic concept of the movie is extra-marital affairs and the tone of the movie is very serious. However, there is no on-screen sexual or violent content.

Aanand Rai's Strangers treads the trodden path of Bollywood filmmaking's cliche while adapting foreign films -- that is, of opening the film with an extremely dramatic event that is in actuality only an incident, such as one of the protagonists of the film being arrested for a murder of another of the protagonists.

The film caters to a mature minded audience as it carries a serious attitude and crafty intelligence. On the whole, the movie will hold your interest most of the times and presents a unique story will style and twists.

Stranger is a well made mystery narrated with style. Due to lack of promotion it will find its audience constrained to the multiplexes.

Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1951 film – Strangers On A Train, an interesting plot has been wasted by sleep inducing execution by first timer Aanand L. Rai. It gets so boring due to its sluggish pace after some point of time that you care less as to what the finale has in store!

Absolutely. This is a must watch for every lover of thriller. Sadly, even though this is a first rate movie, the same cannot be said of the marketing. It will find its audience in the Metros.

The first half seeks faint inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's ' Strangers on a Train ' (which was already remade in Bollywood as ' Soch ') but the scene varies post interval with the movie gaining a new identity.

The movie follows a non-linear narrative approach – its story flits back and forth. In the very beginning the film catches you off-guard with the arrest of one of the protagonists for murder. From there on the story is developed at different reference points and the dots are connected in the last 30 minutes of this thriller.

Don't bother watching this film… not even for Kay Kay Menon or Sonali (who is completely wasted). Trust us, you must have seen better cock and bull stories than this one.
