8 of 35 people found this review helpful The film's makers have ludicrously attached a disclaimer that says that because their film's protagonist suffers from a little-known medical disorder called anterograde amnesia, there is a likelihood that their story could feature elements common to other stories and films.

8 of 9 people found this review helpful The movie begins with a medical student named Sunita (Jiah Khan) who takes an interest in a particular patient case, Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan). He suffers from a short-term memory loss where he forgets everything within 15 minutes, so in order to remember everything, he takes pictures with polaroids, tattoos his body, keeps notes, etc...

2 of 6 people found this review helpful The plot is straight forward - revenge. Sanjay Singhania(Aamir Khan) is suffering from acute short-term memory loss set off by the violent murder of his girlfriend Kalpana(Asin). He is on a mission to find her killer. There is only one thing in his mind - revenge. He's got to work around his illness and he finds different ways to dig out the clues that lead him to the killer.

2 of 4 people found this review helpful Mr Murugadoss is merely on masala over-dose. The closed theatre unbearably reeks of an Indian kitchen. It doesn't help the film-rolls are a ghaj (3-hours-plus) too long.

4 of 11 people found this review helpful Ghajini has parallel narratives: the love story, shown in flashback, and the revenge story, which moves forward with every man Aamir kills. The action scenes are unsatisfying. They have been crafted by a man who has clearly never been in a fight, and has only seen one in Tamil movies...

4 of 4 people found this review helpful Aamir Khan is brilliant! An actor who can never disappoint, neither with his performances nor the overall quality of his movies. He is by far the best star-actor of the decade. What with a different variety of movies like Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par and now Ghajini! All very different, but brilliant nonetheless!

5 of 8 people found this review helpful The story, as probably every Googleable person knows by now, is about a tycoon who goes on a mission to locate Ghajini, the man who killed his girlfriend and caused him to lose his long term memory.

3 of 3 people found this review helpful Ghajini ends this year with a great Dhamaka for all universal audiences. For those who watched this year's releases with tentative thoughts, can head for Ghajini to witness 'The best film of this year'. For sure, all Khans, Chopras and Kumars should be eyeing on Murugadoss now while rest of the cast-crew would witness a great new dawn in Bollywood for this New Year.

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Ghajini isn't a particularly good film, but entertainment it delivers by the bucketful. At a running time of 3 hours, the film seldom drags and therein lies its victory. For the Singh Is Kinng generation, here's another time pass entertainer...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful The movie is about Aamir who is out to avenge his grilfriend's death. Aamir is a rich businessman, who 'accidentally' falls in love with Asin, a struggling model. During the course of their courtship, Aamir proposes to Asin and she agrees not knowing that he is who he is. In the meanwhile, Asin loves to help out the needy and one such exercise of her proves fatal...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Ghajini, for the uninitiated, is the revenge tale of a man Sanjay (Aamir Khan) who has short term memory loss - he forgets everything every 15 minutes. And this leads to a nightmare for you in trying to accept what's happening in the movie. The film prefers to stay vague about if he remembers whatever's happened in his life before the incident which led to this condition...

10 of 22 people found this review helpful The high point of Ghajini is Aamir Khan's class act of the hero who switches from a shy, taciturn tycoon who finds love in the alley -- with an ekdum ordinary girl -- to a vulnerable killing machine who mauls his prey like a wounded tiger.

The length could surely have been trimmed for the extra runtime doesn't add to the conviction like in a Lagaan or a Jodhaa Akbar.

The film, till almost the end, follows the Tamil Ghajini in terms of story and treatment. Director Murugadoss must have found it easy to repeat a formula with which he has already achieved success. But for making an implausible story digestible and entertaining at the same time, he deserves credit.

3 of 3 people found this review helpful 'Ghajini' is a film that ought to be seen for the sheer novelty of its theme. Inspired ? and to some extent, lifted ? from Hollywood's 'Memento', it tells the story of a man who can't remember anything beyond 15 minutes. He suffers from short term memory loss...

7 of 9 people found this review helpful The film is three hours long and the good versus evil theme is something we've seen many a time in Bollywood films, but each scene of the film is so gripping that never once do we feel bored. The story has been told in such a novel way with so many twists and turns that it keeps the audiences on the edge of their seats guessing what would come up next.
