1 of 3 people found this review helpful The real star of Hello however is Sharman Joshi who plays Shyam. For long we have seen this talented actor being sidelined in ensemble cast films. But in Hello he shines in his first-ever author backed role displaying various emotions with amazing ease. Sohail (playing Vroom) though entertains, is getting repetitive with his smart-ass act. It's the same Sohail you seen...

2 of 3 people found this review helpful Salman Khan appearing in cameo role doesn't mean that director should have let him at ease to perform on his own interest. Katrina Kaif with her cherubic looks captivates us though she appears for duration of not more than 10mins.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful The songs too act as a major hindrance to the flow of the film, especially in the second half. But director Atul Agnihotri has sure come a long way as a director since his disastrous Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha; some scenes have been executed quite well. The Gul Panag - Sharman Joshi sex attempts in the car, Sharman and Sohail antics, as well as some scenes in the call centre are hilarious.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful Katrina Kaif looks tired, sleepy and bored. Salman in the first part looks every bit the rock star he is portrayed.

1 of 3 people found this review helpful Its urban premise circled around the call centre milieu, about six distinctive individuals, caught in a moment of divine intervention was a hot-selling success, a topic of widespread blog discussions and arguably the longest toast in the season of Indian fiction in English.

1 of 3 people found this review helpful 'HELL-o' works in fits and starts. It works when you have Sharman Joshi and Sohail Khan showing their comic flair and Gul Panag showing her bosom through the low neck lines. It plods when a high-voiced Amrita Arora and an oddly-dressed Isha Koppikar ham as if they were competing among themselves.

0 of 2 people found this review helpful Hello, which is based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller, 'One Night @ The Call Centre' is on paper, a good take on the lives of those working at a call centre. But when it comes to the actual film itself, the novelty factor doesn't come out. Also the directors err in judgment in spending too long in his exposition...

1 of 2 people found this review helpful What makes the film so humdrum is the cast. Very simply barring Sohail Khan and Joshi, no body even bothers to look interested. Joshi's performance is first rate and so is Khan's in most parts. Koppikar emotes well but the moment the sound comes on, it's a complete mismatch and falls flat. Arora is...

2 of 4 people found this review helpful One Night at a Call Centre was a passable fiction but Hello just made me dislike the novel. Certainly this 'Hell'-o is not a 'welcome' sign.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Adapted from Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel One Night at the Call Centre, Hello is an embarrassingly amateurish movie. Remember the kind of class plays one put up in the school quadrangle when one was 12...

1 of 2 people found this review helpful f you were away in the Himalayas, do be informed that Agnihotri and best selling novelist Chetan Bhagat have collaborated on the screenplay adapted from One Night @ the Call Center. Bhagat's book is a work of gulp fiction, not the sort that would make it to the Booker, but did sell big time. Just like Anurag Mathur's Inscrutable Americans. Shudder.

0 of 2 people found this review helpful At the beginning of the film, angel Katrina says that the story is more beautiful than her. I don't think so. Salman Khan plays himself and angel Katrina walks into his lounge and narrates the story to him on the condition that he will make a movie on it. Salman agrees.
