6 of 6 people found this review helpful Priyadarshan has handled the complicated script extremely well. A few changes have been made to the original, to make it funnier and more convincing. The first half is a light comic thriller and completely revolves around the supporting characters. The lead character (Akshay Kumar) enters 45 mins into the movie and takes it to a completely different level. The second half is more of a psychological thriller.

3 of 4 people found this review helpful Priyadarshan has handled the complicated script extremely well. Bhool Bhulaiya has just the right ingredients of a successful movie - adequate amount of comedy, suspense and thrill to keep you at the edge of your seats throughout...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful All up where does that leave BHOOL BHULAIYA? Well the movie is definite time-pass and lives up to the entertainment "mantra" associated with an Akshay-Priyan combination, however those expecting a full-fledged comedy as the initial promo's suggested will be disappointed to an extent as this movie is not just a comedy mindless comedy by any means, this one has a story to tell..

21 of 25 people found this review helpful Bhool Bhulaiyaa has what is takes to entertain the crowd and with the producers leaving no stone unturned for its promotions, this one seems to be a winner all the way. Even though it's not a really recommended watch do check it out nonetheless if you are a Priyadarshan-Akshay-Paresh combo fan.

3 of 3 people found this review helpful Paresh Rawal is superb. Rajpal Yadav is good in his small appearance. Rasika Joshi looks convincing.
On the whole, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a mixed baggage of entertainment and laidback storyline. With its star studded presence and good publicity, the film is expected to get a good opening and should sustain the tides of box office for a few weeks from now.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a very entertaining movie, which will meet with varied reactions. Box-office verdict is tough to predict for this flick, it could go either way. But if it fails, the makers are to be blamed for the misleading promotion.

I wasn't expecting anything from this film - infact i was quite reluctant to even see it. But glad I did and it turned out to be a good movie. Yes, since it's a Priyadarshan film, there are the usual "why are they screaming" characters and unnecessary songs...

4 of 4 people found this review helpful Cinematographer Thiru captures the grandeur of the haveli as well as the scary moments to entertain the viewer. The editing is slick, but for the extra 15 minutes. It's a pity that the title track, which is quite a rage, comes as the credits roll on the screen.
BHOOL BHULAIYAA is definitely worth a watch.

0 of 4 people found this review helpful Then arrive NRI freshly-wedded couple (Shiney Ahuja-Vidya Balan). He's a maharaja of sorts. So, a dormouse plays a piano in his haveli, a cat does a nach baliye under a basket, a kitchenmaid bites her lips till yours bleed. And hello, a jilted girl (Ameesha Patel, wasted ) with Rapunzel hair is described as walnuts-'n'-pistachios. Insane.

0 of 3 people found this review helpful It's a mad, mad world out there, and particularly so in that sprawling ancestral home of Shiney Ahuja, a descendant of some yesteryear Maharaja, in this week's new release Bhool Bhulaiyya.

7 of 38 people found this review helpful It's a bad film. It's boring, it's predictable, and any film that lists a red Rajpal Yadav and Akshay pulling up his dhoti while running as its extreme highlights, well, needs to be shunned.
I'm not even going to talk about the badly acted climax and the awful choice of actors therein; this film doesn't deserve analysis. Skip it.
