Technically, the film is superb. The songs are breezy and hummable. Only complaint is lax editing that could have trimmed the repetitive jokes and extraneous dialogue...

The story? The scenes? Oh come on, go in fresh for this one and enjoy it unfold. It's anything but unconventional, an ImtiazAli-esque warm-blooded romance replete with confusion...

Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, written and directed by Abbas Tyrewala is a fun-filled, engaging entertainment. Rarely do you feel bored as four friends narrate the love story of the protagonists -- Jai and Aditi -- to a bored newcomer, who joins the group by the time the film ends.

The movie begins well, the characters are well developed, the viewer gets totally involved in the proceedings, there are emotions, and comedy and scenes that make you smile. The movie is basically targeted at the youngsters, the college going audience...

The coolest, warmest, hippest and funniest musical romantic comedy in years has arrived, and a new Khan is born. Abbas Tyrewala, who gave us the fabulous original Munnabhai MBBS story and the dark Maqbool, has written a small gem that is a heart warmer...

Jaane Tu … definitely comes in with an air of freshness with the likes of Genelia and Imran. The film dips post interal but still has its moments. It’s sure to impress at least the youth. As for Genelia and Imran , they have left behind their footprints in Bollywood.

First half of the film is excellent. The second half is good though the tempo goes down and the narration becomes prolonged. The plus points of the film are screenplay, fresh narration and right casting...

The only good thing that comes out of that is the electrifying chemistry we get between Imran and Genelia who literally bounce off each other and keep you spellbound when they're on screen, even in the film's dullest scenes.

Like it or not, the plot that goes gaga about a go-on-express-your-feelings saga shares similarities with Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Socha Na Tha. It's also as predictable as heart-shaped balloons on Valentine's Day. Yet it has sufficient charm, smart writing chops and zany zip to keep you smiling. Say cheese.

The film is definitely not flawless. There are rough cuts here and there, especially in terms of editing. The film doesn’t have a great beginning but it picks up as it nears the interval, however again slows down in the climax! The pace keeps fluctuating, which at times distracts you, and makes you fidget in your seat. The story too has nothing new to offer...

The film could have done without focusing too much on the individual affairs of Jai and Aditi in the second half. In fact, there are too many scenes where either Jai or Aditi are missing and that is a put off...

It perfectly suits the demographic which it's trying to target - the youth (which I happen to fit). It's a simple love story that's been told time and time again, but the acting, (Imran excels), comedic elements and the amazing soundtrack, make this an enjoyable watch...

The bottom line is, Jaane Tu... is a nice, feel-good film – minus the chiffons and New York skyscrapers – that does not aspire to be a great work of art. Thank god for that...

Another Khan joins the long list of great actors that the Hindi film industry boasts of. One look at debutant actor Imran Khan onscreen and you're taken back in time, reminded of the chocolate-boy hero of...

Hats off to Abbas Tyrewala for keeping the story so simple and populating it with characters (including horses) that chip in their bit to the movement of the plot. As it turns out by the film's end, not a single character is dispensable to the story...

Rotlu, Bombs, Jiggy . . . and the Rat's Meow . . . What's this? It's the fun yet ridiculous names of the main characters in Abbas Tyrewala's directorial debut Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. Like a burst of fresh air in what seems to be a stagnant state at the box office, Jaane Tu... reaches audience members in a light hearted, easy breezy way.
