Zoya’s dilemma over Hrithik and Katrina’s kiss in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Among the many other things, Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is being eagerly awaited as it brings together the hot pair of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif for the first time ever. Those who have had a sneak preview of the film claim that the chemistry between Duggu and Kat is simply electrifying.

The buzz is that Hrithik and Katrina even have an elaborate kiss sequence in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. While Zoya Akhtar was editing the song ‘Ek Junoon‘, there was a lot of pressure from the actors on the director to keep the chemistry down and make it more of a gang song versus their romantic number.

Now a similar dilemma has reached a very powerful sequence of the film. Insiders say, “The scene shows Katrina riding a bike, chasing down Hrithik and pulling him over to kiss him. It’s an extremely important and sensual scene in the film and needless to say an extremely hot sequence. Since it’s a three minute long sequence, the makers don’t know what to do whether to retain the scene as it is or tone it down a bit.”

From the promos it’s evident that Hrithik and Katrina share a fabulous chemistry on screen.

Sources confirm, “The scene is crucial as it triggers the romance between the two. However the makers are in two minds now, how much to keep and how much to edit? Also the fact is that Katrina doesn’t kiss her heroes on-screen often and not in this fashion. This is extremely aggressive keeping her character in mind. Besides Hrithik too hasn’t kissed often on celluloid and when he did with Aishwarya in Dhoom 3 it had created quite a furore”

It remains to be seen if the scene will be retained in the final cut though we are sure fans would surely want to see Hrithik and Katrina at their romantic best.
