Yami Gautam is in a completely different avatar as a strong lawyer in the recently released film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film, which features her alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor for the first time, is based on the malpractices of power supply companies. In the midst of promotions, Yami Gautam was seen in an EXCLUSIVE chat with Bollywood Hungama.
During the same, the actress not only had some fun answers for the rapid questions that were thrown towards her but also some intriguing revelations that left us surprised. One such response was that of her confessing about her Batti Gul moment. Well, by now, readers would be aware that Batti Gul Meter Chalu tackles issues such as power cuts. Reminiscing about her childhood days, Yami spoke about one such incident which according to her is her Batti Gul moment.
Yami said, “Let me tell you that I have always had this very cute dimple since childhood. BUT! If someone sees closely it looks like two dimples. However, one of them is a dimple and the other is actually a dent!” Elaborating on the incident, “It was my bedtime [it was during my childhood days]. I was jumping on the bed and suddenly Batti Gul ho gayi [Lights went off]. Honestly, I don’t remember if there was a power cut or someone switched off the lights. I was just dancing around and thought of diving on the bed. As soon as I jumped, the lights went off and I hit the corner of the bed. I cried a lot and thought I was bleeding. But eventually I realized that I have actually got a dimple and that’s what I told mother too. I told her, ‘Mamma I actually got another dimple’. “
“I know it is a weird incident but this dimple is forerver!” the actress concluded.
