Bonafide globe trotter Priyanka Chopra is one busy lady. The actress, who is UNICEF’s Global Goodwill ambassador, had recently visited Jordan to spend time with Syrian refugees. Now, for her work, Priyanka Chopra has been honoured in the special edition of Hollywood’s elite magazine cover, Variety.
Priyanka Chopra is pure elegance on the cover. The special edition cover of “Power of Women” has featured women who have left impact with their philanthropic work. Sharing the cover, Priyanka said she is grateful to share the space with such talented women. She wrote, “Thank you @Variety for making me one of your #PowerOfWomen honorees…. Grateful and humbled to be honored alongside such talented women.”
Besides Priyanka Chopra, other women who have featured on the special edition cover are Kelly Clarkson (QX Super School), Patty Jenkins (Anti-Recidivism Coalition), Michelle Pfeiffer (Environmental Working Group), and Octavia Spencer (City Year), as reported by Variety.
Priyanka Chopra will also be honoured at the annual ‘Variety Power of Women’ luncheon on October 13 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons. The event is annually organised to honour Hollywood’s most philanthropic women, whose efforts have made a significant impact on their chosen charities and causes.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will soon begin the third season of Quantico. She has already completed her next film which is a romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic. Starring Adam Devine, Liam Hemsworth and Rebel Wilson, it is slated to release on February 14, 2019. Besides this, Priyanka Chopra will be starring as a single mom in A Kid Like Jake alongside Jim Parsons, Claire Danes and Octavia Spencer.
