December 11, 2017 turned out to be a historic day. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in the beautiful town of Tuscany in Italy and it broke the internet. Both tried to keep their marriage a secret but the media got a whiff of it. Yet, nobody was exactly sure on which day the marriage will take place and hence, in that regard, the uncertainty was certainly there. Hence, when the news of them tying the knot poured in the evening yesterday, it did take everyone by bit of a surprise. Then came the pictures and it drove everyone crazy. Both looked extremely lovely and happy with the new start to their life.

Only 44 guests were in attendance at this Italian wedding of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The other friends and colleagues of both will get a chance to congratulate them at a wedding reception held in Delhi on December 21. The invitation card of this reception is already out and deserves to be seen. It is simply designed but the font and look gives it a royal feel. The invitation also informs that the reception will be held in the majestic Durbar Hall of the five-star hotel Taj Diplomatic Enclave located in the posh Chanakyapuri locality of Delhi. At the bottom of the card is the mention of family members. But interestingly, even Virat Kohli’s dogs Nanke and Dadke have been mentioned under the ‘Compliments’ section!

This is not the only wedding reception that will be held by Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as many of the players of Team India won’t make it to the celebration due to the on-going cricket series. Moreover, Anushka’s colleagues are all from Mumbai. For them, a bash will be held at a Mumbai five-star on December 26. Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and Rani Mukerji, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani etc are expected to attend.
