Weekly Worst Dressed: Rani Mukerji, Parineeti Chopra, Nushrat Bharucha and their tepid style moves!

The tinsel town has become much more fashion aware, courtesy fashion influencers and bloggers. Hence, celebs now stride with an enviable flair of elegance flaunting looks that are basically an interpretation of the vision of their fashion stylists. Also, their styles inspire us to be their sartorial high-end twins or create a signature look. While some tinsel town divas have figured out the styles that work in their favour, some struggle and err. It’s a new era in fashion that states there are no rules. In a bid to be experimental, some celebs go overboard and their zealous styles lock horns with the fashion police. This week, Rani Mukerji, Parineeti Chopra, Nushrat Bharucha doled out styles that bore elements of unflattering silhouettes and cuts coupled with unappealing makeup making it a dull affair.

These ladies who courted the ire of the fashion pundits this week certainly need to tweak their existing styles a bit with or change the course of their style moves. Dressing up is a subtle art and painting a picture that certainly did not cater to our style sensibilities, here’s a breakdown on their fashion faux pas moments.

Rani Mukerji

Up and about promoting her upcoming flick, Hitchki, Rani was spotted in a green Red Valentino crochet dress teamed with white pumps. The dress looks unappealing to the T and we wish Rani would understand that styling up is all about what suits your personality. Parineeti Chopra

Styled by Sanjana Batra, Parineeti wore a pleated wrap dress from Trabea and teamed it with a Daniel Wellington watch, nude pumps, dark eyes, pink lips and a sleek hairdo. While the emerald colour does work for her, the silhouette lends her frame a stocky look. Also, the pumps fail to blend in with the look. Nushrat Bharucha

Styled by Nidhi Jeswani, Nushrat promoted her upcoming flick, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety wearing a Pankaj and Nidhi off-shoulder white swing dress. A delicate necklace from Isharya and a subtle makeup worked well with the look. But the chunky metallic heels from Steve Madden certainly failed to compliment the look. We wish she had swapped them for delicate pointy toes and kept the subtle vibe going to suit her delicate frame.
