Chandni’s passing away has left a deep Sadma on the minds of masses and all we are left with now are her memorable Lamhe onscreen. While Sridevi was an actor of great repute, she also was a hands on momma to her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

Janhvi is on the cusp of making her big Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dhadak with Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter. Unfortunately, her mother will be unable to witness it. Recently, at a fashion event both mother-daughter duo made an appearance on red carpet and we saw how protective Sridevi was of her eldest daughter. So now though the star kid is used to the world of glitz and glam, it is for the first time that she is enjoying the limelight directly, thanks to the fact that she is the latest IT girl in the B-town and that she is being mentored by none other than Karan Johar! Janhvi had attended the prestigious fashion do, Lakme Fashion Week with Sri wearing customised Anamika Khanna couture.

Though they slayed at the event, the paparazzi caught Sri scolding Janhvi in full public view. The doting daughter did not just listen to her mom but also apologized to the press immediately. This reaction is totally priceless! This not only shows that the Dhadak star is eager to be photographed well but she also understands the importance of media in shaping up career of a public personality. Well, Jhanvi was advised by her mom to NOT be photographed solo by the paps, because she understandably was being protective for her. Check out Janhvi’s natural reaction captured on the video below.

Well, Janhvi does not need to worry too much about the media attention because the camera already loves her. Now, we just have to see if she has inherited Sridevi’s effervescent on screen charm and enviable acting chops. Soon, we would know about that too.

Dhadak will release on July 6 this year. It is a Hindi remake of a hit Marathi feature film Sairat. High on emotion and drama, it has all the elements to be a blockbuster.
