On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal has been roped in to feature in the multi-starrer, Takht alongside Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. His upcoming release includes Uri: The Surgical Strike also featuring Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam. The film is based on the 2016 Indian Army's surgical strikes on Pakistan as retaliation for the Uri attack and scheduled for a release on January 11, 2019.
