Total production cost is said to be Rs. 29 crores out of which Rs. 20 crores is the Cost of Production while the rest Rs. 9 crores was spent on Publicity and Advertising

Recoveries

Bhoothnath Returns has earned approximately Rs. 30.14 crores in the domestic market in a span of one week.

Moreover, talking about the satellite rights, the film was sold to Sony for Rs. 21 crores

However, the overseas collections (U.S. - Rs. 46.31 lacs, Canada -6.58 lacs, UK and Ireland-Rs. 61.91 lacs, Australia - 9.48 lacs and the rest - Rs. 9.30 lacs) and collections through music, ancillary rights, home video earnings and mobile platform haven't been taken into consideration.
