Just a day ago, we had given a sneak peek into the first look of Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra from Aiyaary. While the cast was seen bonding with the locals during the Kashmir schedule, now the shoot has been shifted to Delhi. Starting today, the director of the film, Neeraj Pandey recently gave an insight on the cast and crew’s experience on the sets, with a picture on Twitter.
The current schedule in the capital is said to be for three weeks. The filmmaker shared an on-set picture of the actors in military uniforms, and said, “Brothers in arms. From the sets of #Aiyaary.” The crime drama co-produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia is based on a real-life incident revolving around two strong-minded army officers having contrary views yet right in their own ways. Manoj Bajpayee plays the mentor of protégé Sidharth Malhotra in the film.
The Friday Filmworks and Plan C collaborations have given the audiences critically acclaimed as well as blockbuster films like A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby and are currently working on Aiyaary.
The film based on a real-life story is set in Delhi, London, and Kashmir. Neeraj Pandey likes to shoot at real-life locations; therefore despite filmmakers hesitating to shoot in Kashmir after Uri attacks, Neeraj completed his schedule in Kashmir valleys. Aiyaary, directed by Neeraj Pandey, is scheduled to release on January 26, 2018.
