Shah Rukh Khan reunites with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ladies Kajol and Rani Mukerji; poses with Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt

What happens when a superstar reunites with almost all of his leading ladies? It is a reason to celebrate. Last night, Shah Rukh Khan shared a photograph with Kajol and Rani Mukerji and another one which had Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

It was a Kuch Kuch Hota Hai reunion that everyone has waited for. Sharing the photo, SRK wrote, “Sum nites the stars with u shine brighter than the ones in the sky.Thank u ladies for ur graciousness beauty & love.”

What made the internet lose it was the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani recreating their pose. They starred in Karan Johar‘s directorial debut.

Another set of ladies included Sridevi, with whom Shah Rukh Khan had starred in Army. Karisma Kapoor and SRK did the classic Dil To Pagal Hai as well as Shakti. Alia Bhatt and SRK were seen in Dear Zindagi last year. They had a mentor-mentee relationship in the Gauri Shinde directorial.

As confirmed by a spokesperson from Red Chillies Entertainment, “Shah Rukh Khan recently shot with a few of his leading ladies for his upcoming movie with Aanand L Rai. It was a great experience for him to work with all the gorgeous women and share screen space with them all over again.”

Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor and Alia Bhatt looked beautiful as they came for walk-in special appearances in the film. This would be after 19 years when Kajol and Rani Mukerji will come together on same screen since Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is busy working in Aanand L Rai’s untitled film starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as leading ladies. SRK will be seen as a dwarf in the film.
