You've been posting videos where people are literally throwing coins on ‘Laila Main Laila’ in theatres and dancing on stage. This is unprecedented, this is rarely seen, how do you react to this?
The first time, first day first show, I was working out and I thought let me just check what is going on Twitter and see what fan reaction is. All of a sudden, these videos started popping off of people going mad in the movie theatre. It was such an emotional moment because you never know how song’s going to do but to see such a crazy reaction from people, it is emotionally overwhelming.

One of the reasons of repeat value of Raees apart from Shah Rukh Khan's magnificent performance is ‘Laila Main Laila’ song; people are going again and again to watch it. How do you react to that?
I feel much honoured that people are going to watch the song. I am thankful to Shah Rukh Khan for giving me the song, making me a part of his film. We have done so many interviews together; this is the first time that such a big star wanted to take such a huge chance on me. It’s been the most amazing from the very first phone call till today so it’s awesome.

Once you watch the song on screen, the fact is on-screen it is glamorous than what we see in the promo which is a pleasant surprise for many people.
When I saw the actual song on the movie theatre screen it was brighter, it sparkled more. It seemed larger than anything I can imagine. Something big that I learned while shooting this song is it’s possible if you put so much efforts and you work hard and the production you work for, everybody works together to make and promote an amazing film then it’s possible for this type of hysteria to happen and obviously I have never witnessed Shah Rukh Khan hysteria from fans, it’s insane, it’s the most craziest thing I have ever seen in my life. He just posted his picture from Pune; it literally gave me goose bumps. It’s amazing to see the amount of love and support he get. Thanks.
