ON THE SETS: Kangana Ranaut shoots for Manikarnika in this royal attire and it is elegant yet powerful

Just earlier in the day, we had given a sneak peek into the sets of Manikarnika in Jaipur. As mentioned before, Kangana Ranaut along with the entire team is shooting at Amber Fort and now we have come across a new set of images from the sets. The film features the actress in a strong role of Rani Laxmibai and she was recently spotted looking the part whilst wrapping up this schedule.

Kangana Ranaut was earlier spotted in a green anarkali dress and now yet again she is seen in a similar ethereal white outfit. Adding to the royal and elegant look is the statement jewellery and beaded turban. But what gives the required drama in the scene is the powerful way she is seen holding the talwar [the sword] in the pictures.

Going by the pictures and the sets that showcase grandeur, it seems that the sequence that is being shot will be a crucial point in the film. The actress recently even shot for a scene featuring a ritual of sorts wherein she was drenched, a picture of which went viral on social media.

Talking about the film, after much controversy that fueled up a battle between Kangana Ranaut and Ketan Mehta wherein the latter was miffed after the actress walked out of his ambitious Rani Laxmibai to start her own film, Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika was launched in Varanasi earlier this year. With South filmmaker Krish directing the film, it is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
