Revealed: The guest-list for Salman’s sister’s wedding : Bollywood News

On November 18, Salman's laadli behen Arpita ties the knot in Hyderabad. There is much speculation in the media as to who will attend this no-holds-barred wedding.

Even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is said to be attending the ceremony.

However sources from the Bharatiya Janta Party dismiss reports of the PM's wedding rendezvous with the Khans as 'mere conjecture'. "As of now the Prime Minister has to look at his schedule. Also there is the very urgent security issue. How can the Prime Minister attend a wedding which is likely to have innumerable gate crashers because of the superstar Salman's presence?" adds the source.

When I spoke to Shatrughan Sinha regarding the Prime Minister's plans the never-say-die actor-politician retorted, "Firstly I am not a spokesperson for either the Prime Minister or the party. Having said that, I'd like to add that it would be nice to see Mr. Modi take some time off for this wedding as Salman and his family seem very fond of him."

Shatrughan Sinha confirms his own presence at the wedding.

We'd also like to add the following confirmed guests at Arpita's wedding: Katrina Kaif (with or without Ranbir Kapoor), Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Karan Johar (without his mom, as she's recovering from surgery), Sajid Nadiadwala and family, David Dhawan, wife and sons Varun and Rohit Dhawan, Hema Malini and Dharmendra (with or without their two daughters and sons-in-law). And from Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi and son Ramcharan will attend the wedding.

Contrary to reports, Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchans have not confirmed their presence.

But Shah Rukh is likely to be making it, as he's very close to Salman's family.

Says a source close to the family, "Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri are very fond of Arpita. For their beloved sister's sake, Salman Khan's family would walk that extra mile. Ever since Arpita came into their home, Salman's family feels their lives transformed for the better. They don't deny her anything. When she announced her intention of marrying a man of her choice, Salim Khan and his three sons immediately agreed to the match."
