Raveena Tandon and singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya were guests of honour at 'Natraj Gopi Krishna Nrityotsav 2010'. It was a unique event that was staged by many celebrated artists from all over India. The event was an amalgamation of Rasa, Bhava and Taal which was well gelled with rhythmic footwork, gestures and postures.
This was indeed an event to remember, courtesy some of the brilliant performances by the students of 'Nritya Samagam', who performed beautiful pieces which were reminiscences of fond memories of Gopi Krishna. The performance was an interesting blend of both Kathak and Bharatnatyam which was witnessed by celebrities and a wide spellbound audience.
Besides all the other performances, what really took the cake was a 'Jugalbandi' in Bharatnatyam and Kathak, which was performed by Guru Rajendra Chaturvedi and Guru Anjana Dongre along with their disciples.
All in all, it was surely a day to remember!
