The last week has been celebration time for the film industry in New York. It was 18th International Indian Film Academy Awards aka IIFA 2017 where it was all about glitz and glamour. Karan Johar co-hosted the show with Saif Ali Khan.

Now, post the celebratory weekend, the after party continues for the filmmaker. Karan Johar is having a gala time with friends in New York City with Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, Gauri Khan, Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Oberoi. Post an amazing dinner, the party people posed for some group pictures together. It’s clear that these popular stars from B-town have had too much of fun in the New York City. Karan shared the picture and wrote, “NYC nights! @hrithikroshan @suzkr @iamsonalibendre @gaurikhan @gayatrioberoi @putlu”.

Sonali Bendre also shared another photograph and captioned it, "When the night turns to morning... with the people who know how to bend time! #Squad #MrPurpleNights #NYDiaries #SummerVacay time #GoodNight."

On the work front, Karan Johar last directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Fawad Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. His production company Dharma Productions also distributed the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
