Just recently, the who’s who of Bollywood made an appearance at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, and among them was none other than Aamir Khan. The perfectionist Khan who has been busy working on his film Thugs of Hindostan paused on the red carpet to field questions from the media about various topics which ranged from queries about his look for the film to receiving style advice. Responding to the question on whether he receives style advice, Aamir Khan stated, “I get style advice every day from Kiran. She thinks I am never properly dressed, so today I have come wearing a proper tie”.
However, it wasn’t Aamir explaining why he attends the style awards and not film awards or for that matter what his thoughts on working with Amitabh Bachchan that caught our attention, instead it was the actor’s response to the query about his views on the raging issue of nepotism that did. Talking about the same, Aamir Khan said, “As far as I know, Nepotism exists everywhere in the world. In the world of films, when it comes to me as a producer I prefer to work with people be it technicians, writers, directors or even actors who know their job and how to work. It doesn’t matter if they are part of my family or not, what matters is that they know their job.”
Back on the film front, while Aamir Khan last release Dangal continues to work its magic over the audience internationally, the actor is busy working on his next venture Thugs of Hindostan. The said film which is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Jackie Shroff in addition to Aamir Khan. Produced by Yash Raj Films, Thugs of Hindostan is slated to release around Diwali next year.
