The filmmaker who has been a doting father to his kids – Pooja, Rahul, Shaheen and Alia Bhatt recently got emotional on social media.
Taking a trip down the memory lane, Mahesh Bhatt, who is also quite active on these social networking sites, recently shared this picture that was posted by another handle. This sepia toned image of Pooja Bhatt as a child artist is from a 1970s commercial. It made the filmmaker emotional as he reminisced about his struggling days. While reposting the image, his caption read, “How can I ever forget this image. Pooja earned her 1st pay check when she was just 3yrs old .Her 1200 bucks kept our kitchen fires burning.”
Pooja Bhatt, who started her career as a child artist, became a popular star in the 90s with films like Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi, Daddy, Sir, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Chaahat among others to her credit. The actress soon ventured into direction and production and last produced the Sunny Leone starrer Jism 2. Her next production Cabaret featuring Richa Chadda is yet to release.
