“Love at first sight—total BS!” says Kangana Ranaut : Bollywood News

The beautiful Kangana Ranaut, who is currently in London shooting for Mental Hai Kya, is raising the temperature in the July issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. She is sizzling in a sequined bikini by Discount Universe and has paired up her quirky bikini look with Ralph and Russo trench coat. In the exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan editor Nandini Bhalla, she talked about love, online dating and why it was good she did not get married when she wanted to.

Talking about being in relationships and when he had the chance to be married but she did not, Kangana Ranaut said, "I am truly happy with what I get in life. In fact, whatever I have ever wanted has been so bad for me. Like, every time I wanted to get married to someone, I'm glad it didn't happen and after a few years, I've always said, 'Thank you, God, you saved me!'. You know that sort of thing.”

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Kangana even talked about how she never understood this online dating generation and how one can date through an app. She said, "Love at first sight—total BS! I can't begin to comprehend how people think they'll find love on a dating app. How on earth can you find someone attractive if you don't even know them? I mean, I know we're the 'YouTube' generation—not a handwritten letter generation—but it's scary how much the Internet has changed the way we view relationships. I feel like we've all become a lot more robotic—it's almost like we're adapting to this machine-esque era by becoming mechanical ourselves."

Kangana further revealed she is not on any of the dating apps and would be very bad at online dating. "I tend to defy the rules—so even if I set a date with a stranger, I'd not show up. You can't tell if a man will be passionate about you and thoroughly invested in you from a photo on an app. That's the stuff that actually matters—if a man is all about you, and cares about the things you care about, the stuff that engages you—it makes no damn difference how he looks or what he does for a living. You won't be able to help yourself falling in love with that man,” she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Balaji Motion Pictures & Karma Media and Entertainment’s much-awaited film Mental Hai Kya, starring alongside Rajkummar Rao. The film is all set for a release on 22nd February 2019. She will also been seen as Rani Lakshmibai in Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi. The film is slated to release later this year.
