Last seen in Haseena Parkar, Shraddha Kapoor has of late been in news for shooting Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The actress was recently in Uttarakhand shooting for the film. However, now her co-star Shahid Kapoor has taken off to Beas for a birthday-family holiday. On the other hand, Shraddha seems to be dedicating her time to the movie itself. From what we hear, she is currently prepping for it by learning the language.
While Shahid Kapoor has taken a break, Shraddha Kapoor decided to make use of that time to understand the language. The actress, reportedly, has a knack of picking up accents. Hence, she is working on the same during her shoot schedule in Uttarakhand. The actress has apparently developed a fascination for the dialect in New Tehri. Hence, she is experimenting with the same as of now.
Talking about it, Shraddha Kapoor added, “The Kumaoni dialect sounds unique and different. It needs a fair amount of practice as it is challenging to replicate it as is.” This is not the first time where we have seen the actress expressing her special fondness for a dialect. On various television interviews, Shradhha Kapoor has entertained the audience with her ability to switch from American twang to Russian, British, and French accents.
On the other hand, we hear that when Shraddha Kapoor started shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu she received a warm welcome. In fact, the actress was said to be overwhelmed seeing the love her young fans were showering upon her. She even obliged to fan requests and signed books happily.
Talking about her forthcoming films, besides Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shraddha Kapoor has a few other films in the pipeline. The actress will also be making her South debut with Prabhas starrer multi-lingual Saaho. Her other films include the horror comedy Stree with Rajkummar Rao and Saina Nehwal biopic.
