It is a known fact that Karan Johar has spent years working in the film industry. So, not surprisingly, he has a horde of anecdotes and throwbacks that he time and again shares on social media. And of late, he shared one such special memory but with a hint of humour in it!
Karan Johar shared a picture of himself with Sonakshi Sinha, her father and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and the showman Subhash Ghai. Let us tell you that the image was clicked by Abhishek Bachchan [as credited by Karan] and Sonakshi looks adorable as a kid. The said picture was taken when Karan Johar won his first Zee Cine Award for his debut directorial Kuch Kuch Hota Hai [starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji]. Despite it being one of the most special memories, Karan recently shared a throwback post from the ceremony but with a quirky caption.
“I have to thank @bachchan for sharing this with me! Remember this @aslisona ?? I have won an award but looks like I ate the ceremony!!!! #majorthrowback #doublechinalert.” The filmmaker is not only known for his sense of humour but also for being a sport of taking and making jokes on himself.
Karan Johar, who is also quite busy with his kids Yash and Roohi, is currently mentoring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter for Dhadak. The film, which is a remake of Sairat, is directed by Abhishek Varman and is slated to July 20.
The filmmaker, in fact, is also producing a film starring Sonakshi Sinha. The actress is a part of Dharma Productions’ Kalank. The said film features an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.
On the other hand, besides these films, Karan Johar is also producing films like Student Of The Year 2, Kesari and Simmba.
