While the world was partying the night away on December 31 as they geared up to welcome the New Year – 2019, Kangana Ranaut too had her own share of celebrations. However, there is only one word to describe her private bash – homely. No house party or bash, Kangana spent quality time with her family and the actress also put her cooking skills to use. Her sister Rangoli Chandel gave us a glimpse of their celebrations at their residence in their hometown Himachal Pradesh.

Everyone would be aware that Kangana Ranaut fondly built a special bungalow in her hometown for her family. She decided to spend the New Years in the chilly region and enjoyed the day in a complete quintessential Indian manner. Garam Chai, Samosas and the seasonal delicacy gajar ka halwa was on the menu. Ranaut’s manager and sister Rangoli Chandel took to social media to share the New Year shenanigans and also had loads of picture with her son Prithvi and his favourite aunt Kangana.

Rangoli Chandel shared this lovely picture of her family enjoying the Samosa party on Twitter and said, “When roads are jammed, it’s samosa party at home!! #ringinginnewyeras #2019 #Mountainlife# Happy new year everyone.”

On the other hand, she too spent some bonding time with her sister Kangana Ranaut over a glass of wine. “Hope we all rise & shine !! Cheers to 2019,” she captioned the said picture. She also posted a few other pictures and videos of her son Prithvi playing with the wine glass of Kangana.

Kangana Ranaut too seemed to have enjoyed her time with her family. While her special moment was when she made gajar ka halwa for everyone, she also turned photographer to click a frame-worthy picture of the Chandel parivaar, that is Rangoli, her hubby and her son.
