Leaving the fans surprised, Zayn uploaded a video of himself singing a cover version of ‘Teri Deewani.’ The fans could not stop but swoon watching him sing a Hindi song. In the black and white video, the 25-year-old singer is dressed casually in black t-shirt and shorts. Though the singer has difficulty with diction, this happens to his first attempt at a full-fledged song.

On Wednesday morning, Zayn Malik shared another video covering Kailash Kher’s song ‘Allah Ke Bande.’ It seems like the singer is working on his diction, dialect to get his Hindi and Urdu game strong.

After fans noticed Zayn’s versions of the song, they spammed Kailash Kher’s timeline with it. As it turns out, the singer had no idea who Zayn Malik was until he went on his Instagram timeline and saw his massive fan following. He realized that he is a big star in the West. In a video, Kailash Kher responded to Zayn and said that they could someday collaborate. I have heard many versions of ‘Teri Deewani’ from many people. Someday, Zayn, we can jam together and perform together if given a moment,” he added.

Recently, while speaking to Elle India, Zayn revealed that he is collaborating with AR Rahman for a Bollywood song. “It’s one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is. There’s definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song,” he said.
