Here’s who wanted to help resurrect Sara Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath

Just a day or two ago we had reported that filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala had taken over the entire production of the Sara Ali Khan – Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath. In fact, the Abhishek Kapoor directorial had hit roadblocks after the makers of the film, KriArj Entertainment had a falling out with the director on the budget of the venture. But now, just days later, we hear that another big name from the industry was all set on jumping in to assist the film and resurrect Sara Ali Khan’s debut vehicle – Dimple Kapadia.

Here’s who wanted to help resurrect Sara Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath

As per reports, we hear that veteran actress Dimple Kapadia was rather keen on assisting in whatever way she could to get the project back on track. Interestingly, Dimple, who at one point of time was Sara’s mother Amrita Singh’s competitor in the industry, later became the best of friends with her and upon hearing of Sara’s predicament wanted to jump in to help. Apparently, this happened after Amrita mentioned the issues Kedarnath was facing, upon which Dimple immediately started looking for the right people to step in and resurrect the venture.

However, with Ronnie Screwvala now stepping in we get the film is back on the track and both Amrita and Dimple can breathe easy.

Kedarnath that was supposed to mark the debut of Sara Ali Khan is based on a heart-touching love story set against the backdrop of Uttarakhand floods. While one major schedule of the film was already wrapped up in North India, the film will kick off its next schedule this month itself.
