While we know that Ek Tha Tiger delivered some mind-blowing action sequences featuring Salman Khan, Tiger Zinda Hai too wants to focus on delivering world-class standard fights and thrills that have never been seen before in a Bollywood film. This Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer aims at pushing the envelope on action, and the team roped in Tom Struthers of The Dark Knight fame to design these outlandish, jaw-dropping and unforgettable fight scenes in films for this sequel to Ek Tha Tiger.

Tiger Zinda Hai team shot a long, elaborate schedule in Abu Dhabi featuring tons of action. This schedule featured choppers, jets, army vehicles, and heavy artillery were used in this never-seen-before action sequences thanks to the Abu Dhabi army aka the Emirates’ army. Talking about the stunts in this lavish action drama from Yash Raj Films, director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Tom [Struthers] is a master of high-octane action sequences and here, his brief was to create action that is both larger than life and yet, realistic. He has delivered sequences that will stay with audiences for a long time.”

On the other hand, Struthers too explained about it saying, “We’ve had to create a lot of explosions for the film. We’ve blown up fifteen vehicles, of which four are moving vehicles. One of them is a 40 tonne truck which made a lot of noise when it blew up!” He went on to add, “What was difficult to make (referring to the action sequences), actually feels beautiful to watch now. The action that has been created for Tiger Zinda Hai is good as any other film that I have done."

This Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif espionage drama makes a return with its second instalment after five years and promises to be the edge-of-the-seat entertainer. It is set to release on December 22.
