Here’s what Ranbir Kapoor thinks about getting pitted against Ranveer Singh : Bollywood News

This year has been clearly a year full of some interesting performances. Ranveer Singh mesmerized the audiences with his menacing act as Sultan Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, Padmaavat. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is currently seen as Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju and his uncanny resemblance and performance is definitely being applauded. For the awards season next year, both the actors will be definitely pitted against each other after their career-best performances. But, Ranbir thinks that it is healthy to have a competition and he thinks Ranveer's work really inspires him.

Speaking to a daily, Ranbir Kapoor admitted he was completely bowled over by Ranveer Singh's performance after watching Padmaavat. He thought that Ranveer did phenomenal work in it. He is aware that Ranveer is called as his competition but he also thinks it is amazing to have that kind of healthy competition which only makes them do better work. Speaking about Ranveer, RK further said that the Padmaavat actor inspires and excites him. Sometimes, his films do better business than Ranbir's and he hopes that things will be vice versa some day. He knows it will be an interesting pattern.

As fans want these two stars to come together for a project, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that they have been offered work but one can't take up a project which would do injustice to either of their acting skills. He hopes to work with him in future and also Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff.

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release Sanju has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Directed Rajkumar Hirani, the film released on June 29.
