Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York and the veteran actor had earlier taken to social media to speak about taking off to the Big Apple for his treatment. Joining him is also his son Ranbir Kapoor and it was also being said that the latter’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt too joined the Kapoor family in NYC. But if there is someone whom we were surprised to spot then it is none other than Robert De Niro.

Well, according to what Rishi Kapoor posted on social media, it seems that the meeting was definitely an unplanned one! But who complains when the surprise gift is meeting Robert De Niro himself, right? The veteran actor may be in New York for treatment but he and his lovely wife Neetu Kapoor are constantly keeping their worried fans updated about the veteran’s health. And if recent pictures are anything to go by, it seems that Rishi who has flown there for his treatment seems to be recouping.

Coming to his post on Robert De Niro, Rishi Kapoor shared this picture where he shared a selfie not only with the Hollywood star but also his son Ranbir Kapoor, who is on a professional high with the stupendous success of Sanju. Sharing this picture, Rishi wrote, “Wow moment. Impromptu meeting with Robert De Nero on 65th and 3rd. He knew Ranbir coz he had met him and Anupam and said come over with Kher for a drink! Simplicity and super stardom. I realized I have been such a bloody brat. Cannot get over his demeanor. Thank you Bob !”
